England go through

England have qualified from the group of death at the WMF World Cup but by the look on the players faces, it was a big opportunity missed!

Coming into the game, the team knew that avoiding defeat would guarantee them a place in the next round but a win would secure top spot in the group.

The lads started off erratically, none moreso than James McCluskey who nearly scored 2 own goals, once when he crashed an header off his own bar.

Once the Three Lions got a foothold in the game, there was only ever one team in it but they squandered chance after chance and rattled the woodwork a few times themselves.

England have made the last 16 of a WMF World Cup for the first time in their history but now they face the much stiffer task when they take on Bulgaria in the knockout stage.

Can the Lions roar once more and reach the quarter finals? Find out tomorrow live over at the World Minifootball Federations YouTube and Facebook pages.
