After the huge success of WMF Mininfootball World Cup in The UAE, all eyes now turn to Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who will be the host of the European Mini Football Championship in 2024.
This announcement was made and approved during the EMF’s annual General Assembly in Sofia, Bulgaria, today.
The tournament, consisting of 24 teams, will start on the 1st of June and the final will be held on the 9th of June.
A stadium will be built especially for the championship with 2000 people capacity. There will be fan zones, sponsorship activations and entertainment around the stadium.
A site visit will be made next month in Sarajevo, and discussions will continue on planning the event with the host country organising committee.
